The Recreation Centre and Food Hub is planned as a premier lakeside destination: a site on the outskirts of Lake Kyoga and a second on one of its islands, both built around Teso cuisine and leisure.
It is the most capital-hungry unit in the ecosystem and the one with the longest horizon. Island-site development sits in Year 1 of the financial plan, alongside the equipment purchases — the ground has to be secured before anything can be built on it.
The Business Plan names local government in Kumi and Soroti as the partner for security and land facilitation, and the Uganda National Cultural Centre as a strategic venue partnership for the wider project.
